La Piazza is a refined Italian dining experience crafted by Domesttu, where architecture and gastronomy meet in a space that celebrates texture, elegance, and warmth.
The design draws inspiration from classic Italian piazzas, blending traditional materials with a modern sensibility. The space is defined by its deep olive green palette, richly detailed wall paneling, and soft natural lighting that evokes a timeless Mediterranean charm.
Travertine marble is used generously across floors and counters, adding earthy elegance, while hand-carved wood elements introduce craftsmanship and intimacy. The dining zones are framed by sculpted arches, layered lighting, and tactile materials — creating a space that feels both sophisticated and welcoming.
At La Piazza, every element — from the color scheme to the joinery details — has been thoughtfully curated to immerse guests in an atmosphere of Italian hospitality, where flavor and design flow in harmony.
Description.
Covering 10,000 sqm of landscaped areas and 7,800 sqm of built-up space, the mall introduces a multi-level open-air concept that offers uninterrupted circulation and maximum visibility across all zones. The four commercial floors are seamlessly connected via escalators, elevators, and staircases — ensuring accessibility and a smooth shopping experience.
DOMESTTU’s role focused on shaping the dynamic aesthetic identity of the entire space. We used a smart material palette and calming visual elements to create a warm, contemporary atmosphere. Each unit layout was carefully planned to balance flexibility, usability, and flow, adapting to various commercial functions.
One of the defining features of Mall AlSokhna is the strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, where the architecture opens toward sea-facing terraces and sunlit promenades. Custom-designed lighting elements — including sculptural lamp posts — elevate the ambiance and reinforce the visual identity of the mall, day and night.
More than just a mall, Mall AlSokhna sets a new standard for commercial developments in the region — bigger, better, and more connected to its coastal setting.
